Grand Canyon, Day One, Part Two

After hiking 4.5 miles with a pack on my back, the little creek running next to the Indian Gardens Campground was a welcome reward for my feet.

We all enjoyed the cold water. It was so incredibly refreshing.

It is interesting how the simplest things become the most welcome.

Later in the day we set up our camp.

It felt very cozy to have all of our tents all in a row.

While we ate dinner Shauna named the lizards that roamed our campsite.
