Why is it when the kids ask for fondue I always think it is a lot of work but when I make the fondue it is so easy?! I really need to remember that.
We all enjoyed the treat (well, except Erik--he was at work!)...
Here is the recipe for your future FHE:
8 squares semi-sweet chocolate
1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup milk
Melt chocolate in sauce pan. When it is nearly melted add both kinds of milk. Stir until mixed. Pour into a fondue pot with a candle underneath. If you don't have that find someway to keep the fondue warm. It cools quickly and when it does it is not easy to dip the food into the fondue!
Cut up various fruits, cake, marshmallows and pretzels. Enjoy!
